EMERGENCY FOSTERS NEEDED

Taffy Snickers Aurora Sadie Murphy Ava

This poor dog's owner, finding out that she was pregnant, tied her to a tree outside. She had her 8 puppies and cared for them as well as she could -- which was amazing well as they appear to be in really good shape. Recently her owner called animal control and they picked all of them up and took them to a shelter where they were in danger of being gassed.

We would like to help them, but do not currently have enough foster homes. If you are willing to foster, even just two pups for approximately two weeks, please click on the link above and complete an application. All medical costs are paid by the rescue and RAP will find homes for any pups/dogs fostered.

By all accounts, she is incredibly gentle and sweet. Her puppies are pictured below.

***In addition to this Mom with pups, there is another small breed dog with 3 puppies in need of foster care.***

Ways You Can Help......

There are many ways to help save a life, even if you can't adopt.

Foster a Dog or Cat....Save a Life!!!

By becoming a foster you can directly save the life of a lucky dog. Foster homes usually provide food, plenty of love and a safe place for a dog to stay while a rescue organization works to provide vet care and find a loving forever home. Food can also be provided if needed.

Fosters are needed for both dogs and cats of all ages -- babies to seniors, and sometimes for pregnant dogs or cats.

For more information, please contact us at Eistaf@aol.com, clm3@bellatlantic.net, or RapDogs@msn.com.

Sponsor a Last Chance Dog....Save a Life!!!

If you are unable to foster, you can still directly save a life by donating the funds to kennel or board a dog for a period of at least 1 week. Boarding costs generally start at 12.00/day.

This gives a dog more time so that a foster or permanent home can be found.

Last Chance Sponsors are needed for both dogs and cats. Unfortunately, for most pups and kittens boarding even for a short time is not an option.

For more information, please contact us at clm3@bellatlantic.net, , Eistaf@aol.com or RapDogs@msn.com.

Donations

Donations allow rescue organizations to continue to help the tremendous number of dogs in need. It is only through your generosity that this is possible. All donations are fully tax deductible.

Your gift can go toward the funds below, or may be applied to a specific animal.

Medical Fund -- all dogs receive basic medical care but some need much more than that. This fund allows us to treat dogs with injuries, Heartworm positive dogs, those needing the care of specialists and those who are sick. It pays for much needed medicine.

Spay/Neuter Fund -- this allows us to spay and neuter the pets who come to us, as well as often assist indivuals who are unable to afford to alter their pets.

Sponsor a RAP Dog or Cat -- this provides a lucky dog or cat with much needed care. Your name will be listed under that animal's description on our site, if you wish.
